Is Spirituality a Religion?

To me being a #Spiritualist is nothing to do with #religion.

I don’t read the Bible, pray to God or believe there is a single person that is the creator.

But I do think all religions are very similar, just with different symbolism.

To me, we ask ‘The Universe’ for what we wish to draw into our lives, we ask the Universe to help out a situation and we look to ourselves and our Guides for answers, where as Christians pray to God and ask God for the same things and so on and so forth with other religions. For Christians it’s about living a life of honesty and #love to go to #Heaven, where as for a #spiritual person it’s no different, yet what they call Heaven we call the Afterlife and we know how we live our life here depicts how we live our life after. For Christians they believe if you live in sin you go to hell. From what we are told by connecting to those in the spirit world, there is no Hell, however you vibrate at a lower dimension and have to reincarnate to fulfill what you’ve not done in this life.

I couldn’t sit in a Sunday church service praying to God and hearing all about it. However I very much enjoy the Spiritualist Church where a Medium connects with the other realm and brings those we have lost through. As the picture says, Religion is all about routine and people are told how they must live, what they must believe in and what they must do.

Spirituality is #freedom, and makes life much more fulfilling knowing you can create the life you want and knowing the end is simply not the end, it is going back to where we came from.❤️
