Spiritual Development Circle

As I continued researching to expand my knowledge of what was going on, I kept reading about ‘#SpiritualDevelopment’ and it mentioned that you can join a circle of like-minded people to explore more of the spiritual side of life. I wasn’t too sure what it would be like but I had some free time so thought I would check it out. We did some meditation (which I’ll expand on in a different post) followed by different things such as holding objects, looking at different cards etc. I found it all quite interesting, especially the meditation as whole new world opens up and so I continued to attend weekly.

The third time I went we did a short meditation as normal and afterwards the lady said ‘Clair, turn to the lady to your left and read for her’, I was completely put on the spot and said ‘oh no, I can’t do that!’ I’m just interested in it that’s all. She said ‘quiet your mind and just see if you get anything, and just say whatever comes to you, as you have to trust it. (A motto I live by now)

So low and behold I tried to quiet my ‘Monkey Mind’ which is the same process you do in order to meditate and low and behold I started getting thoughts and images in my mind’s eye. I mentioned a name to this lady, a date that I heard along with a grandma figure talking about crochet (which at the time I had never heard of) This lady was nodding to all this information with a smile, then I heard the word ‘Lion’. Now I felt really stupid randomly talking about a lion to her so I ignored it, but I found that by not saying what I was given it will keep repeating itself until you pass it on, so when I mentioned it looking confused they were surprised and quickly led me just outside the back door to a huge lion festival statue, then they made a point of saying they are trying to give you solid evidence so you trust what you’re receiving through.

I left that Circle (now over two years ago) on a huge high that night as I never for a second thought I could connect, I just assumed I was interested in it all due to the numbers plaguing me. I continued to attend circle before it unfortunately fizzled out but I did manage to read for the circle leader and bought her best friend through by name who’s picture was in a frame next to where I was sat. Again I was surprised but it was validating the experience each time something came through that was evidenced as being correct, helping me to further trust in what I was being shown.
